Wonderful and caring. It's unfortunate that someone had a less than ideal experience at Jill's daycare. My daughter has been going to Jill's for a year and a half, and has had nothing but a wonderful time there. In fact, she sometimes cries when I pick her up to go home.

Jill is very caring and kind with the kids. She has tons of toys of all levels for them to play with. She feeds them well balanced, home cooked meals, and often takes them for walks to the beach. They also do art projects and celebrate the various holidays.

I hate to see Jill's reputation disparaged on the Internet. She doesn't deserve that kind of treatment.

Just because someone's child with special needs wasn't a good fit doesn't mean Jill should be so wrongly criticized.

I would highly recommend Jill to anyone who needs a quality sitter in Aptos.

HORRIBLE!!!. I gave this daycare a 1 star rating ONLY because 0 stars wasn't an option! I had very high hopes for my son at this day care. However those hopes were quickly squashed after just two days. After full disclosure of what my special needs son required from a care giver, Jill told me that she could definitely handle it and would shadow my son and give him the necessary attention that he required. The first day I felt a bit weary when I saw her constantly stepping away from the children to answer her phone. I chalked it up to being an overprotective parent. However, after taking my tuition check it wasn't but the next day she was over it. I realize that not everyone has the patience for a special needs child. That is why from the beginning I made sure to disclose EVERYTHING! This woman is very unorganized and seems to just tell you what you want to hear. When telling me that she would no longer watch my son, she was very cold and lacked any sense of compassion whatsoever! I would not recommend this place to my worst enemy!
