These people are for real!!. These stylist are very talented!!! Deffinetly go in and check it out for yourself. I was referred to a couple different stylists by friends, and they just happen to work at Urban Groove. I know some of the stylists have been doing hair for at least 15 years +, and are very good from what I saw. Experienced and professional all under one roof! As for gossiping, I didn't hear any, I found everyone very friendly and I am a quiet person, I felt very welcome. I was also greeted with a smile, I've walked in to many salons in this area that look you up and down and act as if your bothering them when you arrive, not Urban Groove your welcome from the moment you walk in!!

Hmm...I don't think they are that great.. Average haircut but mean staff. Actually one of the hairstylists I tried was really moody.

Well, I don't know...

I've only been there twice, tried two hairstylists, decided not to go back again.

So many nice hair salons out there why go back to a mediocre quality salon?

Just to balance.... I've had very pleasant experiences and cuts here. The stylists did not talk about other customers once they left or treat anyone disrespectfully the times I've been there. I love that I can drink a beer or glass of wine, while getting my hair done, and I find coming here very relaxing. I've loved my hair cuts everytime. Andi and Raul are both great. So go there yourself and make up your mind after the experience.

These ppl are really good.... ...in gossiping. When it comes down to "skills", they suck big time. I wish I could show you what they'e done to my hair. OMaGod. These Santa Cruz hippies are awful!

Just go there once to check out b/f you spend your $$$. Bonus comment: as soon as customers leave, they all make fun of customers in front of other customers; no wonder all these custmers were so quiet. The receptionist asked one lady if she wanted anything to drink. When the lady said she wanted water, the receptionist made this face to one of the hairstylists as she was getting water...
