The food was across the board bad. The decor was from the 70's and the number of flies in an indoor restaurant was alarming. If you enjoy mildew and moderately priced bad food with your view- this is your place. Management is banking on their view at the expense of the customer.
Yes after reviewing other comments and suggestions on that resturaunt its a shame that people have experiences like that, where management can care less about customers that are pleasant yet still staff will treat you poorly as if its your fault, that kind of attitude has to change because then people like me can not even rate the resturaunt because im not one to be treated in that manner, and it just does not make me want to drive to santa cruz area from san francisco to be at that kind of rersturaunt.
I went to the Miramar, and unlike the person before me I had an amazing experience. When we first got there there happened to be a little bit of a wait. The hostesses however were very polite and got us a perfect table by the water. The server was very respectful and knowledgable of the food. We had a few questions and she did not even hesitate to answer. It did take a little while to get our food, but it was understandable, they were slammed. We had one complaint because the snapper was a little bland but the server took it right back and replaced it with what we wanted. I will go back there everytime i go to the warf. HIGHLY RECOMMENED.
What a disaster!.
I will never go back there. The service was horrible. We had to wait 20min to place our order, 30min for appetizers, another 30min for our entrees. a nearby table ordered 10 min after us, and got their food before us (they ordered similar items). I complained to the manager, and he could not have cared less. Then another manager came over and said "I heard everything was slow, our computers went down in the kitchen, so give our staff a break, they are only human" We were more than nice, so I do not know where that came from. Also, they do not clear dishes or refill drinks unless asked to do so. And, IMO, if you are having kitchen problems, you should be making up for it, with a little more attention and friendlier attitudes. The food was decent, but probably not as good as nearby restaurants.
