Superb honest honda repair. I brought '97 CRV to Paul on short notice. It needed a new radiator and a tune up for starters and might have had other problems. My son in Portland, OR had totaled his car so he needed transportation soon. Paul was able to replace the radiator, complete the tune up - with some extras (new valve cover and water pump). Plus he replaced the front brake shoes and insured that everything was in good working order. This wall all completed in a day and half for $740. The car made the trip to Portland and ran like a top. My son's been driving it for six weeks since then and it runs great. Paul is a truly fine mechanic.

Best mechanic ever. Paul at Classic Honda is the man. You might not immediately guess it from his humble shop which is tucked away in a side street of Santa Cruz, but he is one of the best (if not the best) mechanics I've ever encountered. He's everything I stated in the 'pros' section and more. Don't ever go anywhere else, especially if you own a late model Honda - he's an expert.

Service Super Exceed. Arrived in town the night before with blue smoke fuming out the exhaust and no guts for acceleration.

I found Pauls # on line and called early in the morning.

Showed up an half hour later.

And left within a couple hours - superstoked!

I have a diesel Mitsubishi van that no one in town wanted to touch and Paul was willing and able to go the distance.

An outstanding Dude!

Honesty in Santa Cruz. My car wouldn't start. It was diagnosed and repaired within an hour. The service was excellent and affordable. At no time did I feel that I was being swindled. I would recommend Paul to anyone and have already recommended him to my family.

Don't go anywhere else. Paul is professional and courteous. He explained what my car needed in detail, and insisted on showing me the replaced parts. If you want an honest and reasonable shop for your Honda, please go to Paul.

Great, honest service. Over the years I had come to expect major rip-offs from Santa Cruz auto repair shops. Classic Honda was the first and only place that worked hard and actually tried to help me save money. He finished doing my brakes and changing my oil in under two hours as well.

Very Helpful, Resourceful Mechanic. We were on vacation taking a peek at our seemingly small car troubles, when Paul pulled up next to us and noticed some very vital problems and offered to help us out in anyway he could without hesitation. He even took it upon himself check a nearby store for auto parts. Even though everything was closed due to the weekend he still was able to pull together all he had to stabilize our issues and get us back home safely. He was informative, and considerate, and Paul even called us a couple hours later to see how things were coming along. He had originally told us that he had a reputation for saving his customers money, and that he would never present any hidden fees; we found this to be true. He really knows how to work with whatever situation he has to get you a good result.

Craftsman Service. Luckily, I did a web search on Honda service and read these reviews. My daughter goes to school in Oregon and suddenly needed her car to travel to frequent medical appointments.

The car had lots of "deferred maintainance" problems....

I took it to Paul and he went over it top to bottom. He didnt replace anything he didnt need to and his rate was very reasonable for the time and effort he put into it.

I drove it up to Oregon 2 months ago and it has been performing flawlessly since.

Paul is a rarity these days... a craftsman mechanic. I knew mechanics like him back in the day, but increasingly, automotive service has become another commodity to be time and cost managed.

A Truly Great Mechanic!. I have been going to Paul for nearly 8 years now and I am

proud to say he's my mechanic. He's honest, caring and a very hard worker.

His prices are the best and he knows his cars.

As a women it is important to find a mechanice you can trust and Paul fits the bill.
