Great cuts, bad case of head lice.. I have really mixed feelings about Shoreline. The last three times I've been there I really like the cuts I came out with; however twice I've also come out with a case of head lice, which is just disgusting. Because of this I probably won't be going back, despite the great quality cuts I've gotten. Just be careful if you opt to go here. Blowdry your hair afterwards and make sure they wash their instruments.

Poor customer service - lack of professionalism. My last three experiences at Shoreline have been negative ones. I have been going to this school(previously Wayne's Beauty College) for over 30 years. It has been a wonderful way to get cosmetology services at a price I can afford. I realize that all the work is done by students, and I make that allowance, However, this is not the first time that I have shown up 5 minutes before my appointment and have had to wait up to 15 or 20 minutes. Today, I arrived at 5minutes to 1:00 and was asked to have a seat. Fifteen minutes later, I checked and was told that my practitioner was not there today and that they would try to put me with another student. Since I know it takes awhile to set up, I did not have time to wait and cancelled. I feel that they should have known before I arrived that "Monica" was not there. It appears to me that the school is getting very lax in professionalism - poor training for a future career when customer relations matters.

Great quality service at bargain prices. I have received excellent services at a fraction of what the same service would cost at a regular salon. The quality of cuts has been better than at any salon in town. The color services are incredibly well done and very affordable. I got a color service with highlights and low lights weaved in with my regular color for $65! It was one of the best color jobs I have ever had. They are also great when you want to treat yourself to a salon style. I have very long thick hair. I got my whole head set in rollers, and styled for $6. There is now where else in town where you can get this kind of quality and value.
