Frolic along the Pacific at this beachside hotel.. In Short
Within walking distance of the Boardwalk and Wharf, this hotel is the only lodging right on the beach. Spacious rooms and suites feature ocean views, a refrigerator, color television and coffee pot. If the ocean is too chilly, a hot tub and heated outdoor pool are available. The Mainsail Restaurant and Bar is the on-site spot to grab a bite. Ocean-view conference rooms and banquet facilities are popular for weddings and events.

Still the Dream Inn. Whoever decided they shoud switch the name from "The Dream Inn" to it's current moniker should take some marketing classes. In any event, it's still the same beautiful beachfront location, the same proximity to tourist attractions like the wharf and West Cliff Drive, and the same spacious accomodations. This really is a nice place to stay. It's a bit pricey, but worth it for a romantic weekend. If, however, you're traveling just with friends, then I'd suggest saving money and staying somewhere else. There's lots of decent motels up on Ocean Avenue.
