If you are looking for a "club" in Santa Cruz, this is as good as it gets. The atmosphere gets a little bit better after a few strong drinks, but nothing can disguise the dungeon like bathrooms or the sticky floor! Santa Cruz is in desperate need of a great, clean 20 something venue where people can dance to good music and have great time, gay or straight! I recommend sticking to all the great live music in Santa Cruz, but If you are in the mood to dance drunk on a stage to music then Blue Lagoon is the place.

Pros: Good club music, cheap or no cover

Cons: Dirty, thrown together atmosphere

this place is brill, all the irish in santa cruz loved its wacky nature from industrial monday to hip hop tuesday way better than the catalyst
