I come over the hill every weekend just to hang out at The Avenue. Kim, the bartender, is THE BEST!!!!!!!!!!! Everyone is laid back, there are never any problems. All kinds of people to chat it up with. I highly recommend checking it out =)

The Avenue has always been considered the dive bar but I have found that it's not as bad as some people have made it out to be. There is a nice patio area out back that is open certin nights, it has a little bar that offers $4 pitcher of beer. All the people that are there are really nice and the atmosphere is really laid back.
