Great Place to Eat in Santa Cruz. I went to Riva the other day for a late lunch. My boyfriend and I were seated right away and the servers were very attentive, and I mean ALL the servers... not just the one that was assigned to our table. The view is amazing, and it's a nice casual place that isn't too expensive.

The calamari here was good, though the pieces are a little too big for my taste. I ordered the fish and chips which was excellent and huge! There were 3 pieces of fish and I could only manage 1 piece. The fries were nice and crispy.

Be forewarned though... the fried food is FRIED, so if you don't like really greasy food, order something else off of the menu.
