Surfer-themed pizza joint with a California attitude..
In Short
It's easy to "get stoked" about this parlor, part of a chain with surfer roots in Capitola Beach. Hand-tossed gourmet pizza comes thin and crispy or Sicilian style, with flavorful toppings such as those found on the D'Lex: chicken, mushrooms, smoked bacon, red onions and garlic sauce. Surfer paraphernalia makes you wish you were at the beach. Bar-hoppers can grab a slice until 2am on weekends.

average pizza.
If you just want to run in and get a slice in a hurry, this is not the place to do it on a Friday night. When I went to get a slice of pizza, the line was crazy. The place was packed; I kept bumping into people accidently; there was no place to sit except a table outside in the cold. The pizza was at least warm because they stick it in the oven for a couple minutes to warm it up before they give it to you. At least It seemed fresh enough, but it's not worth the cost.

Great pizza, but....
Best pizza I've ever had, by far. But for crying out loud, teach your employees some manners! They have been unfriendly, distracted, loud, and unprofessional on several occassions. They also never clean the tables. Speaking of tables - get more. When it gets busy, there is no where to sit. Final note - salads are good too.
