Tasty Brunch Fare!. Cafe Brasil is an excellent alternative to the normal pancake/bacon/egg breakfast or fast food lunch. I never get tired of the menu selection. The prices are very reasonable. The juice bar offers delicious smoothies, some made with South American fruits. However, parking is a problem. Only 4 parking spaces available. Best to park on the street, or bike/walk there.

Great Steaks & Shakes. I love having the Amadiera Steak w/ their Acai Sundae. However, I must say the wait is horrible if you come in the afternoon.

The fresh granola on top of that Acai Sundae might be well worth it though.

The ambience is bustling-cafe-filled-with-students, it's loud and bright. The staff is very nice. There is also a nice quiet shaded patio with a few tables in the back that I have yet to enjoy.

Brazilian Gem. This tiny, brightly colored resteraunt offers some of the best food in santa cruz. Authentic cuisine from Brazil served with flare. Their chai is a must have. Get there early or wait for quite a long time. Also dont expect to park nearby.
