Best Cafe. The Perg is a longtime SC fave. Located in what used to be someone's house (or maybe it was an office, I forget), the set up is immediately welcoming. You feel at home.

On a warm day or night, take advantage of the large patio, which is always filled with intellectuals and assorted freaks (I mean that in a good way). The coffee is great, though the service can be inconsistent.
