8. This is the best place on the Boardwalk. Owner Barbara Wetzel makes this restaurant outstanding by the way she greets everybody to her establishment. What a great lady! The french fried zucchini is to die for and don't forget to buy a Hodgie's shirt while you're there! Hodgie's is just across from the carousel and is a great meeting spot on the Santa Cruz Boardwalk.
