There is never a good time to shop at this Safeway unless you're willing to do your grocery shopping after 2am. It's where all of the students go because it's the closest major grocery store to campus and the only one off a convenient bus line. It's condoland people's home away from home. And then there are the non-student locals who shop here. And the tourists. If you have a car, drive a little bit out of your way to avoid all the craziness. Or go grocery shopping in the middle of then night.
Cons: always very busy
