Credit Card Fraud. Credit Card Fraud. Two days after booking a room through this motel’s website with my American Express card, I received a call from AMEX asking if I had bought a substantial amount of jewelry in Dubai, London, and New York within the last 2 days. As I had not used my Amex card for months prior to booking the hotel, I must conclude that they stole my credit card details. In addition to the credit card fraud:

1) During booking the phone attendant refused to give me the online rate and complained about Priceline undercutting his prices;

2) The night manager called me down at 10 pm to charge me additional money for having a well-behaved non-barking dog (even though we checked in earlier with the dog and the hotel is “pet friendly”);

3) Our television did not work.

Although the motel is located close to the beach and the room was clean, there are better and more trustworthy options in the area.
